I am originally from Southend-on-Sea in Essex where I trained as a counsellor.
In 2010 I relocated to Amsterdam and opened my own private practice ‘Clear Counselling’, where I provided a counselling service for Expats in English. In January 2018 I moved back to the UK with my family and reopened my practice in Shoreham by Sea, West Sussex.
I studied at the University of Essex Southend where I obtained the Advanced Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, Certificate in Counselling Studies and Certificate in Counselling Skills.In the UK I worked for the relationship charity Relate as a Youth Counsellor and also at a doctor’s surgery where I counselled adults. In conjunction with counselling I have also been a Programme Manager at Child Helpline International, a Mentor for young people, Careers Adviser for adults and contributed a monthly advice column to the UK edition of Psychologies magazine.
I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
